Tours are available for schools,
interest and other group visits.
The museum has an Early Childhood Development Mobile
Bus that visits pre-schools, running various programmes specifically
designed for this age group.

The museum hosts a number of public events during
the year which are open to visitors. It is always an idea to keep up-dated on the
events or exhibitions that are to be hosted.

OUT REACH PROGRAMMES
* Early Childhood Development
program – five themes
are available each running for 40 minutes which comprise of the
following: Road Safety, Emergency Vehicles, Bicycles and motorcycles,
Steam Driven vehicles and Motor Cars.
* Numeracy, Literacy and Life
Skills
– currently the museum has a mobile vehicle which is
currently training 65 teachers and care givers in ECD training. The
project is partnered by the Bertha Foundation and will run for one
year.
* Sport & Recreation Mobile
vehicle
– the museum has partnered with Sport and Recreation in
an outdoor sporting and training program for primary school learners,
which will be visiting various schools for the specific activities.
Booking is essential for these visits to the various
schools or institutions.
